Custom boards

The board you need,
designed and built to order.

Beyond our catalogue, Darkmatter designs and manufactures application-specific boards to your requirement: from schematic through firmware to tested hardware, under one roof in Bally, West Bengal.

Prototypes are built on the same lines as our catalogue boards
What we build

When the catalogue is not enough.

Boards for a stated requirement

When off-the-shelf hardware does not meet your operational need, we design a board against it.

Form factor and connectors

Variants that fit an airframe already in service, without modifying it.

Payload and control modules

Interface and control boards for mission-specific sensors and equipment.

Firmware and interface adaptation

Firmware changes so our boards work with the ground control and comms systems you already run.

Ruggedisation

Conformal coating and hardening for harsh field conditions, on request.

Indigenisation

An imported board re-engineered and manufactured in India, so supply no longer depends on it.

How it works

From requirement to production.

Requirements come straight from you, the user. Design, firmware and manufacturing stay in one building, so changes are quick and nothing waits on an outside supplier.

  1. RequirementYou tell us what the board must do, where it fits and what it connects to.
  2. DesignSchematic, PCB layout and firmware, in-house.
  3. PrototypeBuilt on our own SMT lines, so prototypes never wait on an outside assembler.
  4. TestBench and flight testing, with revisions until it meets the requirement.
  5. ProductionManufactured, tested and supported by the same team, at volume.
Built on proven hardware

Start from boards that already fly.

A custom programme can start from a Brahma flight controller or Vishnu ESC and change only what the job needs: connectors, size, firmware, power or a payload interface. That keeps development short and the result proven.

To get started, send us
  1. What the board must do, and on which aircraft or system.
  2. Size, mounting and connector limits.
  3. Power input, interfaces and the firmware or ground station you use.
  4. Quantity and when you need it.
